The Inspiration To My Beat-Making!!
This is my 4 year making beats and the thing is, I learned how to make them in a short amount of time. When I first started making beats, they were uptempo or fast paced. Most of my first set of beats were into a pop form, because I was in that kind of mode. Before I was making beats, I was using other beats, the producers who I know personally. Three of the beat-makers went to school with me. Their names were Jack Chane, J.J. Playboy & Chris Wayne. These are the reason why I decided to pursued beat-making.
Jack Chane who real name is Chane Jackson is the cousin of the other producer who I just mentioned named Chris Wayne. He was my first ever personal producer. Basically, his beats had a very close comparison to Just Blaze and The Neptunes. The beats he made was hard knocking and had you dancing. He also produced my very first mixtape “The Beginning Of King Kut” in 2002. Plus, he produced 2 more of my mixtapes, can’t remember what I called them but every song is his was pretty much fast paced and danceable, that’s the kind songs that i’m good at making. So where is he now, well, we got into an argument shorty after my 19th birthday and pretty screwed me over for money. I haven’t heard from him since then.
J.J. Playboy, real name is Jason Peterson. I met him at middle school. I was freestyling outside one day and shorty after, he came up to me and ask me do I need beats. I told him that I needed some for my 4th mixtape. He told me that he can make beats and he would like me to listen to them. He sent some beats the next day and he listened to them. The beats he made blew my mind. He gave a CD with 14 beats on them. Some of them were fast-paced and some of them with that dirty south style to them, I wanted them beats. So I asked him on the next school day how much was the CD of beats he gave me, he said that he was not planning on selling them but he charge me only $10, so I payed him and I quickly recorded song off his beats. A year later, he gave another set of beats, so I used them too. The last time I seen him was in my junior year in high school before I had to transfer to another high school called Grady High. We lost contact with each other since then. He was a great beat-maker and maybe one day, I might bump into him somewhere in Atlanta.
Chris Wayne, real name is Christian Wayne and the cousin of my former producer Jack Chane. I met him about 5 years ago when I perform at his sister’s birthday party, his sister was my ex-girlfriend. He started out as a fan of me, he would always speak to me and tell me how much he likes my music. He even freestyled for me once. We went to the same High School for 3 years and when I transferred, I didn’t see him until I moved into Decatur a year later after I graduated from high school. I happen to bump into at another venue where I was performing, he figured he’d keep up with me on the internet. 3 months later when I broke up with his sister, he contacted me on my email and ask me would I listen to his beats, I couldn’t turn that down. So I listened to them and his beats sound much different then his cousins, he was a beast on the piano. I told him I liked them and he gave me 6 beats for free. A month later, I collab on a song with him called “Them Girls Love Me“, he was putting together his first mixtape and I was gearing up for my 6th mixtape “No Pain, No Gain“. We performed the song in Riverdale at a pool party and the song became a hit. Every since then, we been putting out hits together until 2 years later, I learned how to make beats and at the time, he joined a rap group called The Young Riders. I haven’t heard from him since he joined the group, but then…I managed to bump to him in Kirkwood, my stomping ground. He had left the group and we talked. He recently just joined another unsigned rap group but we still talk to this day.
All of them people are the reason why I wanted to become my own producer. The thing is, they all are not in the same boat as me because I already got quite a buzz of me working with other artists. I produced more beats for artists than they did. I work hard each day to make sure my beats sound differently than others. My favorite genre in my profession of making beats are dirty south rap, as you can tell if you heard my songs or people who I produced song for. Like for example: A.P.T.’s upcoming song I produced for “No U Aint”, a very hype southern style beat at my best.
I also have a section on my site where you can find my production credits, but they’re not the only artists I produced songs for. Not only I can create dirty south beats, I can also remake a popular beat. As a matter of fact, I’ve remade a beat for A.P.T. puppet project Non Juan. I remade Snoop Dogg’s “Sensual Seduction” beat into a parody of Non Juan’s “Erectile Dysfunction” beat, sound almost just like it but if you listened closely, you will tell the difference. I have also remade 3 songs of Master P, which I have sold to other artists.
Now I feel like it’s my time to get recognized for my past works. I have also learned that if you give an popular artist a beats that you’ve made, it will get you attention and people will start to see that you have the skills of beat-making. The songs I produced for A.P.T. has been hits, so yeah, I make hits and I suggest that if you’re an artist who wants hits just like A.P.T., then you should give me a try and trust me, you WILL like my beats. I work so hard on them beats and it has payed off. Who said that you can’t be a rapper and make hot beats, NOTHING & NOBODY. Get with the beat-making movement of me, because i’m the #1 source for great beats with great sounds.

Reason 5 in my opinion is where you are going to get your best bang for the buck when it comes to music production
